Ok folks, I know that many people are anti-cabinet and pro-safe for the fire-protection aspect, but given where I store my stuff, a big safe is not an option. The other option is a safe in the garage, which I really don't want to do (don't ask why, I have my reasons).

So I've been looking for a comprehensive storage option for my house. I really like the looks of the wall options/storage of like a SecureIt. Modular, which is huge given my habits, looks nice, and appears extremely functional.

Continuing the search, I came across Gallow Technologies. They offer some amazing cabinets that are similar to the SecureIt in terms of being modular, secure, and nice looking. Their pricing also seems nice. The cabinets are fully welded and offered in a variety of sizes and configurations.

Anyone own or seen a Gallow Tech product? I'm betting there are a lot of our local firearm dealers who have used their product for their showrooms, but curious if anyone owns them. Also, any other companies at which I should be looking?

For example, I've asked Gallow about this style of solid door cabinet configuration in 84" tall so instead of horizontal rifles up top I can put another row of SBRs.

No experience with that brand but it's apparent who they are marketing towards...and it ain't your grand dad.
They've been really responsive to email too. I asked them about stability of having one sitting on carpet if it was attached to the wall. I even mentioned in my initial email the carpet was a dense weave. They replied within a few hours saying it should be fine as long as it's attached, and may actually be really good given the dense weave of the carpet.

I'll let everyone know what the pricing is on a Ultimate setup in 84" tall with solid doors if they have it. I'm sure it'll be about $3,000 before delivery.

Put a piece of 3/4" plywood down first.
That will greatly help with stability on thick carpet but it will still need to be attached to the wall studs.

ETA, for $3k I would buy one of the modular take town style safes. It's a real safe that bolt together.

So quick update to this. I bought a big metal locker off the classifieds here last fall, and it's definitely too big to get up my stairs and into my gun room. Plan was to convert it to a gun locker using the Gallowtech kits. Decided to just order one of their wall mounted kits for my Subguns and SBRs. Going to mount it over my current HQ issue locker. I'll post pics with it installed.

Another update: got the stuff and installed it. Really love it. I would slightly retool the package I ordered if I could, but that's more gun specific to what I need or want. Going to order more to extend the amount of space I have. One consideration is weapon mounted lights. The space is tight if you go as dense as the setup allows, which I have. However, with enough wall panels and room you can skip a column. Otherwise, you can figure out some staggering to make it work.
