Firearms Manufacturer To Invest $2.9M In Alabama

Steyr Arms will invest $2.9 million to add a manufacturing component to its Bessemer, AL location, a key assembly and distribution hub. The firearms maker’s expansion project will create up to 10 jobs, according to the Birmingham Business Alliance.

$2.9MM ÷ 10 jobs = $290,000/job

Yes please! I will move to Momma's home town for that!

I think that's $2.9mil for the facility. o_O

Always nice to have another firearm manufacture in the south. Then you have to ask why do they need to, import restictions? US citizens still the largest arms buyers in the world.

Your mom said "bless his heart" a lot when you were a kid huh?

Spoilsport.
Just being real about it.
As someone else said, most of that will go into the facility

Knowing people who have worked (and some still do) for gun manufacturers here in NC and in Alabama...they are no where close to that. Or even a third of that number.
