First benchmade

Looks familiar! I really like how light it is and opens with authority too.

You should have got the Medford ;)

They are very quality blades, Ive had a couple now and love them.
And, yes, they are so light!

Only had their autos, theyre great

Had a Benchmade 9100 auto for years until I gave it away in Afghanistan. Just gave my youngest son my Benchmade Infidel auto after he bought himself a Mini-Infidel. Miss the 9100 but never carried the Infidel (got both in Iraq 04/15' at the PX)

I like the Griptillian enough I now have a work knife, and a everything else one. Pretty sure it's been with me more than 10yrs.

Nice blade. It may be the first, but I bet it won't be your last bm.

Ain't that the truth!! Start with a Benchmade and within short order you have some Bark River and LT Wrights, another Benchmade, etc. I've found knives to be more dangerous than firearms for rapidly multiplying. :D

Dang this thing holds an edge. I took it to work with me today and used the final two stages of stones and got it very sharp. I cut up about 3 dozen cardboard boxes tonight and it is still just as shape as when I started.

Benchmade makes excellent knives that last forever. I've owned several, but I keep losing them to kids....

I just gave my niece one of these (an old Pika) to keep with her as she goes off to college.

My nephew received my old Dejavoo back in June to keep with him in the big bad world of .mil.

Agree.

When you get it back, it will likely have a new blade, scales and pocket clip...

and I bet you will not be charged a dime.

Bought my first Benchmade in 2002, couldn't believe I paid that much for a knife at the time. Think it was like $75. 15 years later I still carry it. Sent it to Benchmade last year for their sharpening service and they replaced all the bushings and screws for free while they had it. I bought a second one a couple years back and carry them in rotation.

Well worn and still getting it done after many years of abuse. You are gonna love them.
