Couple weeks ago I was sitting in the living room and looked out the window and saw a chicken sitting on my boat. Weird because we live inside city limits, none of our neighbors have chickens, and we live on a busy road. Well fast forward 4 weeks and this chicken will not leave my house. My 5 year old has claimed this chicken for his own. Today Henny Penny earned her keep and gave me an egg. I fried it up for Parker and he ate the bounty of his chickens harvest. Of course now my wife wants to get more chickens and so do the kids. So if I wanted to add to my chicken what do I need?

Funny story the first night it showed up the kids went to check it out. My 7 year old came running in the house and told me “daddy if you pick the chicken up it pecks at you”.

I’d say you need a rooster but you’ve got 5 of them running around.

Nonsense and other such comments,
We STILL need to know why it crossed the road
It crossed the road to show the opossum it COULD be done! Yankees... i swear

Oh, I apologize... you were tryin' to make sure the Yank knew what you was speakin' about, right?

Another egg today, at this rate I can cook up a batch of eggs once a month. I cook 18 at a time, dozen scrambled and 6 fried. I rarely get any of them.
