Food for thought: Lawful Gun Possession and Encounters with Police

I was interested to read Grits post, because I had wondered whether anyone else had taken a badge number and/or officer's name and conveyed a complaint, in person and/or in writing subsequent to any of these encounters?

I'll concede that I didn't follow up on an annoying stop some years ago that I believed was contrived as a training exercise (and pre-CHP/carry). I honestly don't recall whether I didn't follow through out of ennui or cynicism or failure to write down the badge number and forgot it or ... I will say that I'm glad that my son was in the car with me as otherwise my tongue might have gotten the better of me as I got an "attitude warning" as it was.

What I didn't tell you was that the dumbass officer dropped one of my loaded pistols onto the highway.

I knew the guns weren't stolen. Two of them were bought from gun shops and the second pistol was a trade from my brother.

I didn't need the officers name. All the Chief had to do was pull duty logs from the night before and He knew who was working.

One thing about small towns, if you don't get service from the Chief, there is always the town manager, city council and the mayor. The chief has to answer to these people. He serves at their pleasure.

Don't bet your last buck on that, I have yet to hear anything back from Kernersville after my encounter with Azz Hole Officer Miller. I even followed up with the Mayor AND the council members, nothing, nada.... They found room under the rug and filed it there.....

Stop, your ignorance is showing.

What are the odds that it has NEVER happened in the whole history of the world?
Are you answering a question with a question?

The point, that you seem willfully ignorant of, is that it's such a minuscule risk that it's not really something that should keep you awake at night.
