I had to go to that place today, that none of us like going to. Where you try to shut off the side of your brain that you don't want to deal with, and just close out all emotion.
A good friend of mine lost his son this past week. He was just 18, he had just graduated this past year, and his loss is weighing very heavy on his father. There relationship had been strained over the past three or four years and just about 8 month ago took a turn for the better. He was his father's only child and the sad thing is that the lady that hit him isn't being charged. She has gotten away with murder even if it was a accident. So if you can, send one up for him and his family. The viewing was today and the funeral is tomorrow, chances are high we won't get much sleep tonight.
