Ford stops selling cars except Mustang

And Mustangs. Again.
When were Mustangs used/what model(like, which generation)? Seems like a horrible choice for a squad car. Like @Scott Free said, the backseat doesnt seem good for that purpose.

I was at the Ford dealer the other day, getting my oil changed. Decided, while waiting, to look around the lot. My car is almost paid off and a new focus looks pretty nice for a low cost. Anyway, salesman comes out, we get to talking, I asked him about this and he was CLUELESS. Said it sounded made up. I laughed and went back to my coffee and book in the lobby.

I bought a black one and then spent way too much on. Sorry I sold it. Had 5 others but only 1 LX. That thing weighed 2880 on the scales. Don't know what car lover wouldn't know about these. Will Rogers said...Everybody in the world is ignorant, just about different things. I try to remember that when asked about things that I think of as common knowledge.

I was a young boy at that time, so I dont recall that.
And while I like the old Fox-Body stangs, doesnt seem like a good cop car for when you have a perp you have to haul somewhere.

Myrtle Beach has atleast one.

Yeah, who ever heard of a Mustang Police Interceptor?

I saw plenty of them in the 80s/90s. The PI package consisted of the following: silicon radiator and heater hoses, and a high-amp alternator. Otherwise they were stock 5.0L 225-HP automatics
complete with rear drum brakes and crappy handling engineered right into them. A modern Charger R/T would smoke them badly and then turn the corner.

I had an old 98 Dodge Dakota V6 that smoked Fox 5.0's...

Ik, a modern Charger has NOTHING for a modern Mustang.
