From what I've read, it looks like most people (everyone?) that's doing a Form 1 is doing it for rifles or AR-pattern pistols. I'm curious about having a can for a standard striker-fired semi-auto pistol, though.
Is this a thing that can be done? Can you Form 1 your own can for a pistol? Are there people who already make the parts needed to make it function on a striker-fired semi-auto pistol? If the parts aren't produced for later assembly, can someone recommend a machinist for this specific application?
