The hatred of certain sounds. A condition in which negative emotions, thoughts, and physical reactions are triggered by specific sounds.

Yes I have thoughts of throat punching the guy smacking his mouth loudly eating, or slurping his soup. I have to ask for forgiveness of such thoughts. Glad it’s not such a bad case that I have to act on such thoughts with physical reactions.

I have the same thing, mine is triggered by the sound of a car or truck driving in the left lane.

I have "negative emotions, thoughts, and physical reactions" whenever one of the family vehicles makes weird noises, and worse when the family member driving it attempts to describe it to me.

Loud restaurants are what trigger me.
And babies crying.
And dogs barking.
And them noisy little cars with the grinding little mufflers.
And the Boom Boom coming from some cars.
And that damn siren in the firetruck, ambulance or police car that will pierce your eardrum when you let them pass you even if the window is up.
And dripping faucets.

And the crickets that constantly ring in my ears but no one else can hear them.

Guess I'm just old now.

When one of the DIL speaks, which never ends.
Every other word is “like” um you know, hee hee, ummm, like, yeah. If it’s during a meal the mouth will be stuffed with food at the same time.

I suffer from Optical Rectumitius. It’s a nerve that leads from your azz to your eyeballs that gives you shitty outlook on life!

Years ago as kids we would light firecrackers around the WWII vets just to see them vault and dive. Back then we thought it was funny until our time came around to play soldier. Luckily today I am mostly deaf and what noises I hear are usually people blowing their horns at me to get out of their way.

There are so many things that aggravate me that I could write a book if it didn't aggravate me to write that much...
Yeah I don’t have the patience anymore for some things. I don’t think I could go back to school.

All the horn honking driving in down town DC was getting to me also.

I certainly Do Not mean that I have whipped this But, I try harder every day to not give anybody the power to push me over the edge to places I have been too many times before. I have Less and Less to do with any thing that takes me outside the Gates. I am obligated to go out about 3 or so hours a day, five days a week.

Its called adulthood, I love my kids to death but the next time my kid clicks their tongue for an entire 3hr road trip I may completely lose my stuff

I have this, it's real and I will put an earbud in when eating with my girlfriend or family or when there isn't a tv or other sound to drown out the sounf of eating. I can't stand to hear people eat.

I thought this was why we go to the shooting range. Need to vent off or it becomes potentially dangerous. With smart phones there is a fix for silent targets.

Baby talk from older kids, little girls piercing screams to gain attention, and the worst.....snapping of chewing gum.
