Anybody else watching the Foundation series on Apple +? Adaptation of the Isaac Asimov novels.

I am NOT an Asimov encyclopedia, so I have no idea if it's true to the novels or not, but I've enjoyed the series so far.

Yep, wife and I really like it!

I haven't read the original books in 30 years so my memory of the story isn't great... from what I recall though they've kept some of the characters and basic storyline and expanded from there. Probably for the better, science and science fiction have progressed a lot since it was first written.

I do recall the story getting a lot more 'complex' and less compelling in later novels and losing interest, but those later books might have been more money grabs than good literature though.

Trailers look better than what I remember of the 1st book. Couldn't get thru it 40+yrs ago.
