Not ready to leave the woods behind just yet, so i'm switching gears now that deer season is over. Never hunted Foxes before, but have seen some beautiful red foxes on one of my hunting properties..DNR handbook is so vague on the rules so I was hoping someone could offer up some knowledge on the subject. All my properties are in SC btw.

Get into trapping it’s a lot more productive and to me more fun than hunting them.

I'm sure it would be more productive, but I have a bit of a vendetta with a couple of these...missed twice with a pretty accurate rifle at under 100 yards. I swear they're 95% fur. Got ahold of an electronic game call today....gonna dig up a spotlight and do some night hunting. from what i understand from talking with a few people today, there's no restriction on weapon, time of day, calls or anything

A dying rabbit call and a red lens for the spotlight.

Not bait. A recipe for the Fox itself. Should it be fried, grilled, boiled, whatever? Would it make a good stew? Fox stew sounds good!

I let mine simmer in the dog box on the way to the kennel. Then feed and water them until the buyer shows up.
