Smith & Wesson made the 4006TSW for California Highway Patrol. It’s chambered in .40 S&W. It’s the only 3rd Gen gun with a rail machined into the frame. The gun is all stainless and has Novak sights (they are not night sights as the CHP did not order them with them). This is example is in very good condition. It has some holster wear from when it was issued but overall it’s very good. No nicks or dings. I’ve shot 100 rounds thru it when I first got it. Since then, it’s been fully dissembled, cleaned and all the springs have been changed. I also removed the magazine disconnect. I then fired 10 more rounds to ensure function. This gun was issued with Hogue Rubber grips with the S&W logo. From what I’ve read, only about 100 of these guns with those grips were issued. Those grips weren’t in great shape, so I put brand new OEM grips on the gun. I still have the Hogue grips. Its comes with 5 magazines (1 not pictured) and a waterproof case. I have a new Streamlight TLR-1 for it. The TLR-1 was the CHP approved weapon light. Selling because I’m just not into DA/SA anymore. I also have something I want to buy. $450 for gun w/ 5 Mags $515 for gun w/ 5 Mags and TLR No trades unless you have a nice .357 wheel gun. FTF in Kernersville/High Point.
