Fuel prices

I just paid 1.49 in Midway.
I had about 2/3 a tank, went ahead an filled up my car.
Then a 2.5 gallon jug and a 5 gal jug - those are to feed the mower.
A dang buck and a half. Nice.

What are we seeing for non-methanol?

shell on hwy 8 today across from Hardees... 1.49 on pump, 1.46 with credit card discount... did not investigate further north.

1.39 a a gallon in Marion. N.C.
I pass through three counties on the way to work and I fill up twice a week I pay close attention to where it's cheapest

Im seeing prices creep up just a tad around here. What was 1.44 is now 1.59 and Ive only seen one place cheaper at 1.43, small independent on Hickory Tree

2 Sheetz here were $1.55 this a.m. I used my Sheetz card and the pump said $1.51. Most stop and robs here are like $1.89. I just go to Sheetz.

Yesterday on my way to a job I saw it in Candler (west of AVL) for 1.49. On the way back around 5:30, it had gone up to 1.59 (OPEC~Russkie news?). I filled up anyway!

Asheville prices are still 1.99 +/-. Leicester was 1.69 or so late last week.

Mecklenburg is all $1.89-1.95 and up. I braved the 'hood' station at the corner of Sugar Creek and Reagan (across from the pay-by-the-hour motels) and got it for $1.69, then my discounts applied. End up paying around $1.30

With all the money DOT is losing in gas tax revenue, I bet we see a tax hike if prices stay low enough that people won't notice.

Sams club in Gastonia, $1.41. Pass two stations within blocks of it at $1.87
