Neither S&W 3913. Just sayin.
I keep a j frame m&p340 loaded with 135 grain +p gold dots for the deep concealment gun. I had a cw380 and a bodyguard 380 also and it is a personal preference but I can conceal the j frame just as easily as the 380's.vp9c said:I'll be that guy....Kahr CM9!
smaller than either. easy to pocket carry.
super smooth double action type trigger. I shot it more accurately (although more slowly) than the G43. same capacity as G43.
my travel/pocket carry favorite.
It's the height there that makes the difference. And I rarely use the 7 round mag on the Shield...the 8 round mag is what I see most people carry.fieldgrade said:This is an excerpt from a chart I put up at the place far, far away, from whence we came. These numbers are taken from the manufacturer web specs.
Glock's listed specs can sometimes be confusing, like width of their guns when you know the slide is a different width (G30 versus G30S and yet they'll list the gun as the same width) and S&Ws specs aren't always exhaustive, so I have to go fishing for the specs elsewhere.
---------------------Shield ---------G43
Weight--------------20.8---------17.95
Barrel length-------3.1-----------3.39
Overall length------6.1--------- 6.26

I hear ya. I like the Shield better than the G43, but I really like the G26 more than both of those. I carry the G26 more in the cold months, and the Shield (and really the Honor Defense Honor Guard has just about replaced the Shield) in warmer months. When I'm home I usually carry the G26 OWB either open or under a shirt. I just like to shoot that Shield in competition because it's more challenging to shoot than the G26.Starkherz199 said:I'm a Glock fan boy, and I think the Shield is far superior. Since you've already shot the Shield, make sure you shoot the Glock before you buy either.
