anyone have these? got 2 as a graduation gift and the one I have installed only holds 7, the 8th round does not work.

I use the Taran Tacticals. A little on the pricey side, but they are the most solid mag extensions IMO.

I have 2 of the Vickers plus 2 extensions, they work fine for me. Did you use the spring that came with them? Also make sure to remove the insert that was in the bottom of the original glock mag and don't re-use it when putting the extension on.

Thats all I got..

I have done all of that, it barely fits the 8th round, does that sound about right?

I have a tt plus one, but I have heard the tt +2 needs a high power spring.

Yeah they do come with a + power spring, at least mine did. I recently got one of their +3 round extensions and I like it a lot better that the +2.

I have one of the vickers +2s on my G43 mags. It fits 8 rounds but there isn't much extra room. Pressing down on the 8th round doesn't move it down much.

I haven't had any problem but you probably need to seat the magazine with authority loading it on a closed slide with 8 rounds.

I've shot probably 10-15 loadings through it with no problems at all. I carry it as a spare in a pocket and use a flush mag in the gun.

You should take a loot at the taran tactical +1. it fits just about flush but gives you and extra round.

Here is a stock flush, and a Taran Tactical +1 and +2.

I have a couple TT mag extensions and really like them but you can also do this with a mag guts kit for cheap.

I like the tiny bit of extra grip the TT gives you. Plus I haven't seen enough data on the mag guts to trust them for daily use yet.

so went to function check the mags today, and the one with the tt+1 worked flawlessly, the tangodown did not hold open on last round though.

TT and hyve tech are the only good ones out there.

TT Recently changed their design the gen 2 model and I don't like it. If anyone has a gen 1 +2 I would buy

I have a TT+1 that lives in my 43. It's great. I have a couple of the Vickers +2s and they also work great. Had a TT +2 and it didn't work for crap. Then I read from Taran himself they were having issues with them. So, it's gone. I also have a Strike Industries +2 that matches the texture and shape of the grip. It's really nice for a spare, but 2 big for a primary carry mag.

I just ordered a couple of the ETS clear G43 mags in 7 and 12rd versions. I'll let y'all know how I like 'em...

I tried the strike industries for g43 and they sucked. I like strike ind they make decent products for the money but those mag ext would slide right off with little effort.

I don't see how. They lock on with the insert just like the factory mag bases. Maybe you got a defective one? Mine is tight as can be and the little nub on the insert snaps into the hole on the base plate so it shouldn't matter.
