Picked up another bow (yes...its a sickness). Galaxy Ember TD longbow 45@28 from Lancaster Archery. For the money (sub $200 shipped) it is a heck of a good bow. Very smooth draw and shoots where you look consistently....hard to ask for more if you do your part consistently. The finish is about what you would expect in a bow at this price point but otherwise its a very well made solid little bow. I own several custom bows but I have to say for the money the Samick bows and the bows like this one from the same general family (Korean/Chinese, no body really knows the complete history/dealing for these Asian made bows), you get a lot of Trad bow for the money. I currently have a Samick Red Stag TD recurve with 45lb and 35lb limbs, Red Stag one piece 55@28, Samick Volcano 45@28, this TD longbow rounds out this group and I must say they are all solid shooters and great values.
