If this isn’t the appropriate place to post, I apologize. I have a Springfield Armory M1 Garand that I am trying to figure out a value on. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I will gladly answer any questions. Thanks in advance.

Not a lot of info or detail in your pics, but the stock has that been there look

Assuming the bore is good I'd say/guess $800

You’ll get a detailed response if you post in the “what’s it worth” thread…but that’s in the member’s section.
$20/yr is cheap anyway, and you’ll get good info and access to all the inside jokes.

another thing to consider is filling out a data sheet for your rifle. This will identify all the parts in your rifle and will help with an accurate appraisal

I’d guesstimate value closer to $1k for a good condition shooter. Certain makes or parts can drive up the value

As is with out more information 7 to 800 are generous estatmates. Barrel throat and muzzle wear, Op rod piston and gas cylinder wear, Parts wear and timing check, Rear sight detent wear, Stock/hand guard condition, Stock has arsenal markings?, are parts marked and correct to the reciever? is barrel marked and correct to the reciever. There's a ton of things that make an M1 a 700 dollar or a 2000 dollar gun. If you ever come to the Greenville SC gun show PM me and I'll be hapy to gauge and evaluate you rifle for you, I do it all the time for people.

Find a file online called a "Data Sheet".......

The serial number is important in relation to all the numbers on the parts of the rifle.

Take the time to fill out the data sheet, then the INTERWEBZ is your friend.

That is like posting I have a truck for sale... what's it worth....

Need to know the data.
Sn, TE, ME, barrel markings, op rod and bolt marking along with parts in the trigger group.
Import or CMP?
Welded?
