I have these on my bean plants.

What are they, and can I do anything but yank them out and burn them? lol

Looks like boogers, haven't seen anything like that and I have had or have every known disease and bug in all of botany in my garden. Unless they eat the beans leave them. There are all sorts of diseases and stuff going around now. Soaking wet and cold to burning hot is an invitation to everything that can destroy a garden.
 
They look like they might be galls. If the plant is otherwise healthy, 'dontworryaboutit' :)
