Do I think this will happen? I think it's a 50/50 chance. Do I think anything consequential will come about because of it? Nope. Do I wish something consequential would come about? Oh, yeah. A million times yes.

Color me naive and overly hopeful, but I think that regardless of 'real' consequences, especially for whatever perpetrators there may be, there is value in simply the disclosure of what is really going on.

We are seeing this with Twitter, Pfizer, Biden family, etc etc... Even if there are never any prosecutions, there's at least a chance for folks to wake up to reality if the evidence has been surfaced.

But the exposure is too late. I get it, the crime has to happen before the investigation. But dang, we will always place the fox to protect the chicken's in US politics

Yeah, the exposure is likely too late for justice, let alone prevention of what already happened.

I am just being a pollyanna thinking maybe if lots more folks get aware we at least have a chance to alter the system enough to stop crap from happening again.

In a way I think we are seeing some of that play out in the House right now, but only time will tell if it really stops anything.

We can hope.

People that are switched on see the guilding over the rot.

Almost everyone I know who is not switched on, is happy as hell. Super focused on this weekends grocery list.

Well, in this economy, you have to be.

But, yes. People like to be fat and dumb living in their self-imposed cocoon. It's easy, it's comfortable.
 
If he mis-gendered someone, there will be consequences. Otherwise I wouldn't count on it.
