General Question- selling a gun currently with an FFL dealer

Hi all,
I bought Stribog several months ago, forgetting that I needed a permit to purchase. (First pistol purchase in this state). So, it’s sitting at the FFL while I’m waiting however many months it might take for my permits to come in.
I’m thinking of selling this brand new gun and getting something different all together.
I’m assuming if I found someone that was interested, Could i give the FFL dealer the ok to just transfer to the new buyer instead of me.
Is that a correct assumption?

YEs you can sell it and have the FFL transfer it to someone else. They will probably still charge you a fee for storage or handling.

if I were to sell this firearm to a friend who has a permit, can he legally sell it back to me without me providing a ppp?

To be legal, you'd have to show a PPP or CHP.

NC really.

I like living here but it was an eye opener when I moved from SC.

Every single thing has a permit, inspection, license plate, or some damned thing to deal with.

It's the same in all 100 counties of NC. You have to have a PPP/CHP to purchase a handgun.
