Whose crafting what this year?

Kydex holster for the wife. She's tired of my old thumbsnap leather I guess.

Think it turned out pretty well, wish I'd payed more attention to the print, back side is "busier" I think it'd look better.
If I get time I'll bend her an IWB too, she'll never be able to hide a 17, but she asked if we had one at Halloween.

are those holes in your chamber or your blocking out the serial #?

My daughter has an American girl doll. She said she wanted a loft bed for the doll for Christmas. So i made this. Bed up top and a desk on the bottom. Still have to make a chair.

Nice. You got the Kreg jig. Been thinking about getting one. Is it worth the money?

I'm not fathead but I picked one up about two years ago. Well worth the money and very easy to use. The only thing I'll throw out there is that the driver for the screws rusts easily. One of the best amateur-carpenter purchases I've made.

Working in retail for so long has really burned me out of the corporatism part of Christmas so for the past few years I've been making gifts for my wife. This year I wanted to make her an outline of North Carolina out of bicycle chain.

I came up with the idea, but scmoose hooked me up and welded it for me. I was considering superglue, but i don't suspect that would have worked too well.

She loved it.

The Kreg kit is absolutely worth it. I went cheap and only got the single Kreg mini. 20 bucks. If I did it over again I would have bought the 2 hole jig for 40 bucks.

That is awesome. Are the welds on the back side? MIG welds or TIG?
