Hi folks! I'm glad the community has a home here! I was a member of some other forums as well as Project Appleseed using the name Sadman. I'm just going to use the name Patrick here.
I enjoy learning about Revolutionary War history (Joseph Warren is my favorite figure in the history of that time). I enjoy service rifle style shooting (give me a field and a rifle and I'm happy!). I am a reloader (9mm and .223).
I am interested in starting a journey of IDPA style shooting. I have taken Defensive Pistol I, II, III and IV at Triangle Shooting Academy (loved it) as well as NRA Defensive Pistol I and II down at the Wake County Firing Range (enjoyed these as well).
I started my introduction with a reference to history and I'll leave you with my motivational quote that I will add as my signature:
