Glock 18 Machine Pistol

I've shot an 18 quite a bit. Tons of fun. We even had a Ladies' Day back home and got them some trigger time. That and the M1919 made the day, at least until they got behind the 50BMG bolt gun!

If you do a Google search for "hickok45 glock full auto", you'll find several videos. Looks to me like a great way to have fun and burn tons of ammo.

Holy ****!!!!!!!!!

The forward grip came off the rail... ouch!

I've always thought a G18 with a stock would be fun. There's a vid somewhere of a G18 with drum mags.

Ouch...... Machine pistols look like fun, but i wouldnt want to try it without a stock. The guy that shot his hand lookes liked he had a weak grip on the gun....dont know if it would have made a difference

Very difficult gun to control, imo.
The only guy I know who owns one won't let anybody shoot it anymore! Too many near misses and too many rounds into the ceiling of the indoor range I guess.

Hypothetically, if you install say a Ghost kit wrong in a G17 you can wind up with a FA G17 that will scare the crap out of you when you test fire it the first time. Now I only load the first test mags with 3 rounds if I've done something with fire controls on anything.

Very seasoned shooter with an iron death grip. He is still firing downward to help with recoil management. Not for the faint of heart and to @NCFubar 's point, one heck of a ride especially when you're not expecting it!

Damn that looks like fun...

I had an opportunity to run one of these many years ago. Big handful of respect and adrenaline.

Back In the 80's, I used to work at a gun shop that had its own indoor range and we sold Mac 10's for dirt cheap.. Cant tell you how many range lights I had to replace because folks thought you could control them like you see in the movies.

Somebody on this site has a converted full auto G17. Got to shoot it once...fun times. Same trip we put my Beowulf upper on an FA lower.

Full auto's an expensive bitch to feed. Not much fun to clean & maintain, either.

To me, it's kind of a novelty. I don't see any use for it (for my use anyway), and it gets boring really fast. Cha ching cha ching is all I hear!

Have shot some FA and it's just not for me. I have friends that seem to have an amazing time when they do it, complete with huge grin and whatnot.

Yeah, I've never tried it. Afraid I might like it and I definitely can't afford it. Why I haven't bought a slide-fire stock.....

It's pretty much my dream pistol. I have fired one. It's awesome personified... They aren't hard to control at all if you know how to grip a pistol.

I shot it last time I was there... ;)

FA's best in a suppressive fire role n if I'm strafing hordes of skinnies as they're coming over the fence, things are very likely past fixing.

'Sides, as a former infantryman, it's just even more shit to tote, keep track of & maintain.

I am sure of one thing: if I were an infantryman, my opinion of FA would be different!
