Glock 19 replacement

This week, I shot my Dan Wesson 357 better in double action than in single action... that was a bit of a surprise for this single action snob.
Did you solve the shaving of the rounds?

That double action on the Dan Wesson was pretty nice.

I shot one today. Ran two mags through it just to make sure it goes bang before giving it to the wife.
Pretty dadgum solid little shooter.
It’ll also accept the 15 round VP9 magazines.

I'll second the PPQ. I've shot the VP9 and it does feel and shoot nice. I prefer the Walther, but I've talked with a few VP9 owners and they all love them, one of their favorites.
One that has my attention here lately is the Beretta APX. The G19 equivalent (compact) is the APX Centurion.
These things don't get the press they should, especially in comparo's. But they're built like tanks with a lot of design features that go unnoticed. Largest complaint is relatively few aftermarket sight options, especially in FO. Beretta makes several different cool sights for the gun but they're pricey.
I see them selling for $450 ish with some thorough shopping. Most places around $480+.
And Beretta has a $75 rebate on these right now. That'd bring one down to around $380 or so. I'm super tempted on the FDE model, and I'm not an FDE guy. But with the levers and buttons all black, it looks cool.

Mrguns&gear does a pretty good review.

I'm especially impressed that it throws the empties in exactly the same spot everytime.

I’m admittedly a huge Glock fan boy, but I was starting to stray away from them and get into the M&P line, which I really like as well but the latest two Glock models that dropped are, in my opinion, perfection... Glock really knocked it out of the park with the 45 and the 43X. If I could only own two pistols, my choice would hands down be the Glock 45 and the 43X..
