I'm a big fan of the Vickers Glock parts in general. I feel like the quality and reliability of their stuff far surpasses the price (which is great). I carry the plus-2 extension for my 43 spare mags all the time. I do keep a Taran+1 in the gun, but prefer the Vickers+2 over the three times as much and not as reliable Taran+2 or +3 as spares...
Anyhow, I shot my 43 in a match last week and was quite disappointed with my mag changes. Couldn't get the mags to drop free with the factory release without altering my grip and even then it was inconsistent. So I installed the Vickers tac release. It's curved unlike most of the blocky blocky extended releases on the market. It protrudes a bit more to give you a positive release without changing your grip, but doesn't stick out like a big Lego block.
I also didn't care for the lack of purchase on the slide lock/release. I like the option for one handed slide drops. So, I installed the Vickers extended release. It's again a minimal protruding part and doesn't get in the way, but gives me just enough grip and purchase to easily drop the slide with my strong hand and no grip change.
Lastly, and just because, I have been considering the Overwatch Precision trigger after my cousin let me shoot his and I was really impressed. I installed a Hyve Monarch in my girl's 43 and it's sweet too. I wanted an upgrade but really didn't want to drop $150 on a trigger. Enter Vickers again. Their tac flat poly trigger shoe can be had for around $30. So went all in and installed it. Less pre-travel, shorter reset, and a really nice feel compared to stock with the same positive"wall" and break I'm used to in a decent Glock trigger.
All in all, I'm stoked. I feel the functionality issues I was having are non-issues now. For $65 total, it's a lot of upgrade for a little coin...
Coupled with the minimalist holster I designed, a double and two single mag holders, I feel like I am ready to run this little guy...
