Thinking about getting a Glock 43X. I like my P365 but it just feels so small in my hands. The 43X feels more significant I guess is the way I can describe it. So from those who own it, what’s your overall opinion of it?

Same sucky trigger as all other Glocks. And, the grip is far enough down to where it can print in some situations.
And plastic sights.
And blocky Glock ergonomics.
Thats the only drawbacks.
Its stupid dependable and very accurate for a small 9mm. It doesn't feel like a small gun, it feels like something you can run and gun with.
If you like Glocks then you'll love this gun and its a no brainer.
I think Glock made it right.

Its one of the few small guns I actually trusted.

I had a P365. Sold it. Big hands.

I’ve carried a G43 for 2+ years. I also have a G48, which means I also have a G43x because a 43 slide will fit on a 48 frame like it was made for it and run like it came from the factory.

I can make the same groups at 10 yards with a 43, that I can make with a 48, and nearly as well as a G17.
My point is, I would personally opt for the 43. You can add a +1, +2, +3, even +4 mag extension I believe.

To me the 43 is more versatile than the 43x, but that’s just me.

I’ve had a 43 on a couple different occasions. The grip is slightly thinner than the 43x and that makes a big difference for me.

Just out of curiosity, and for the sake of discussion I just put my digital calipers on the grip of the 43 right beneath the trigger guard, and likewise on the 48 (same frame as 43x I’m pretty sure. They take the same mags)

The difference is .1”
one tenth of an inch.
My 48 fits in my open muzzle 43 holsters.

I can’t feel a difference honestly, but that doesn’t mean you or others can’t.

Edit: I did also check the dimensions front to back just under the trigger guard, and they appear to be the same. For whatever that’s worth.

I have all the above listed pistols if you want to come shoot them.

Bottom line is in your quote...
I have all of the above mentioned pistols if you want to come shoot.

Ahhh, completely missed that. I wouldn’t mind shooting the 43x. I have the 365.

The 43x is my absolute favorite carry gun ever, huge improvement over the 43 IMO.

Also, Shield Arm has 15 round flush fitting mags that are hitting the market soon. The pre orders have already shipped and are getting good reviews.

I have been watching these pretty intently to see what reliability will be. Looks promising so far. They’re going to be tough to get for a while I think.

Yeah I think it will be several months before they are in stock regularly. I have a buddy who got a couple on the pre order. Still waiting for him to give me a range report.

I like the 43x better than the 43. Sold my 43 and don't miss it. 43 was never small enough to be a pants pocket gun for me and I can't think of any advantage it has over the 43x.

I don't have any experience with the 365. It feels too small in my hands also. I keep hoping my brother gets one so I can shoot it.

I should mention that one of the reasons I have been slow to consider abandoning the 43 for something larger (48, or 43x) is that, a) I’m retired and wear cargo pants or cargo shorts every day, and b) I’m a largish dude, which means I can pocket carry a 43 and it pretty much disappears in my pocket. The facts that it shoots as well as it does for me, and the ease of pocket carry (for me at least), and I just keep toting it.

If I couldn’t pocket carry it, I dunno. I wear it on my belt with a mag extension even to church when I have a jacket on when I could easily wear a larger gun, but this particular 43 practically shoots itself, even better than my 48 on the draw shooting timed drills. I don’t know if it’s the sights that Talo shipped on it (U notch rear, and Ameriglo front) or what.
