Glock 45 (9mm)

Put 400 rounds through it today and was really impressed with it. This is hands down the best shooting Glock I’ve ever fired and it’s very easy to shoot quickly with. I shot it next to my 17 and 19 and the 45 is just easier to shoot than both of them. I am a big fan and I think is my favorite Glock I’ve ever owned so far.

This is not helping me not lust after one of these...

Got mine yesterday and immediately took it to the range. I was also in the "Why the hell did they go long frame and short slide as opposed to short frame and large slide?" camp but after 200 rounds down the range I must admit.... this is my favorite Glock to shoot hands down. I am loving the balance of it and the trigger, while still a glock trigger, is noticeably improved. The slide serrations.... meh. I went ahead and put a new set of Night Fision tritium sights on it that I had originally been gifted to use with my G19 and it makes for a sweet look. I am now a fan of Night Fision sights. That is all I am going to do to this gun as it is good to go as is. Fits perfectly in my Stealthgear and Vedder G19 holsters. I also got to lay hands on the new Gen5 G19 MOS and it will be next. Glad I didn't get the G19 at release. No more stupid cut out on the frame and the MOS setup looks nice.

Go ahead and treat yourself, you won’t regret it.

I would...if I didn’t already have a 19x, multiple gen 5s, etc. I’m a glock guy through and through, but I’ve gotten a little annoyed with them lately. They release the g45...which I’d rather have than my 19x, but I don’t want to sell, lose $$$, etc. Also, it’s not like the 19x is a bad gun, it’s great. Also the release of the gen 5 MOS guns annoy me too. They have everything done to them already that I’d like to upgrade on my gen 4s, outside of an RMR and suppressor sights, but I already have 2 gen 4 MOS guns.

First world problems for sure, they’ve released better and in my eyes more desirable models of guns I already have, that really are just about as good. I’d like to get the new hotness for sure, but I’ll hold off a while I think. Also, picking up a 1911 a few months ago hasn’t made me want to shoot my Glocks as much...

Where did you find a gen5 MOS? I've not been able to put hands on one yet

Concord area Glock distributor. Craig’s Firearms. They are currently sold out. I am in the list for one from the next shipment.
