G34 Gen4, I bought as is, except the DPP. It has an aftermarket 3.3# trigger.
Rounds are 124g RMR, CCI 500 & 5g CFE Pistol.
1)- I just discovered why some brass is landing to my right, and some is landing directly in front of me. Some of the brass is beating the crap out of my new DPP sight :(

I don’t know what the recoil spring poundage is, these are the only markings I
    can find.

2)- There’s a build up of grime and unburned powder build up. After 20+ years of handloading 40 S&W Glocks I’ve never seen unburned powder & this much grime after a couple hundred rounds in a Glock.

    What are your thoughts?

That is the correct current recoil springs for a Gen 4 G17/34. For a Glock 9mm Extractor clearance will be 1.27mm for Go and 1.80mm for No Go.

Check for broken or damaged ejector-Replace trigger mechanism housing with ejector. 9m should have 336 engraved on it.

Thank You!!!! Especially for including the gauge thickness!
G00gleFu found a couple threads with the same issue.

Seems to be kinda common with the 34.
I have two 17s with dots and zero brass strikes. 11 or 13 lb recoil springs. I also have a very solid grip not that anyone ever admits to anything else. The Apex extractor seems mixed with as many claiming nothing changed as claim success.

CFE pistol is mid range/slow isn't it? May need more for a full burn. I use fast powders in nine, get carbon but very few flakes. I've had piles of unburned in various 45 loads, ugly, but no malfunctions from it.

Currently 3.4gr of Clean Shot under a 147gr RN Blue Bullet. Frequently 3.6gr with a 133gr RN Hi-Tek coated.

I think I was using 4.2gr under a 124gr RN FMJ by RMR.

Have used Titegroup, Bullseye, and Clay Dot at similar velocities at least with the coated bullets, don't load many copper clad.

    Hodgdon's response:
"The load looks to be within our spec. CFE pistol can be a bit dirty at lower pressure or starting loads, should not be the case with 5.0 gr. My first thought is crimp. Having a good deep crimp helps with powder ignition and cleaner burn."

It almost looks like a cartridge came apart in your gun. Or maybe you lost a primer and the powder leaked out?
