Glock Replacement Triggers

draco, do some serious checking of the system before installation for me please!! Take up, actual poundage and over travel please. Thanks Ole Pard.

I'll do a before and after best as I can and post results for ya.
The take up and overtravel are already close to nonexistant. I was actually impressed with those aspects right off the rip. I'll try to get measurements and quantify both.
My biggest gripe is just the poundage and how it makes that sharp factory blade safety very unconfortable.

I checked them out, and they do not have a listing for the 43x/48.
I ended up going with a 3.5 Ghost connector and an Overwatch Precision. Got the Ghost in the mail yesyerday and expecting Overwatch early next week.
We shall see...
Which Overwatch?
\

The Falx.
Afyer you mentioned it, I looked into it some more on various forums and decided to go with it. I saw many more positive reviews of it than negatives from actual users.
Like I said...we'll see...
I hope this works out for you. I was always a Glock guy until my neck surgery and damage to the nerve that controls my trigger finger, middle finger, and thumb. Now there is just something about the geometry of some triggers...especially Glocks that dont fit with me. The CZ S2 seemed to fix this. Also the M&Ps with the Apex kit work. I hate to let the new Glock go, but I'm thinking I should just stay with the Shield and 2.0 compact.
I will still give major props to Overwatch Precision...their stuff is the best I've come across. Highest possible recommendation for them.

No info here, All stock all the time on Gs here.

In over 25 years of shooting Glocks, I have had one failure -- and that was a limp-wrist stovepipe.

So FWIW, to date my Glocks have proven more reliable and better built than I am. (Better looking too! :D )

Come on Now, are you square and black???? Running joke here is when anybody shows up with a new G...Ya'll wanna see my New Glock??? All together...we've seen it, NO!
I'm glad I didn't ask when I got my 19.

(Or my PC9 with the G mag insert! It's a "RuGlock"! )

I'm definitely square, yes. And I don't lack for melanin -- I'm at least part black (Irish). But my Glocks are just tools, and I don't think more of them than that. Now if you want to see my dogs ... or my granddaughter, well that's another matter! :D

@BatteryOaksBilly
Finally got my Lyman back from my friend and did the install of the Overwatch Precision Falx trigger and 3.5# Ghost connector on my G48.

Prior to install:

Takeup measured approx 3/16" as best I could do it.
When you hit the wall, there was maybe 1/16" creep before the break.
There was no discernable overtravel.
Tested five trigger pulls for an average of 5 lbs 13 oz. However, they were not consistant at all. Low pull at 4 lbs 13 oz and high pull at 6 lbs 4 oz.
Forget to check reset length. My bad.

After install:

Takeup remained the same at approx 3/16".
The wall was less defined, but there was approx 1/8" creep before the break.
Overtravel stayed the same at next to nothing.
Much smoother pull
Tested five trigger pulls for an average of 4 lbs 11 oz. Lost a little over a pound, but the biggest thing was the consistancy. Low pull at 4 lbs 10 oz and high pull at 4 lbs 12 oz. Far more consistant than stock.
Reset length approx 3/16" with the same 1/8 in creep before break.
Reset was very tactile with an audible click.
The feel of the trigger face is vastly improved

Recap:
Lost wall resistance
Increased creep minimally
Dropped over a pound on the pull
Far more consistant
Much smoother
Very tactile reset
Feel 1000% better

Imho, the good things that came out of it far outweigh the slight degradition of the wall and creep.
All that's left is to make it go bang a few times lol

Edited to add my impressions on the reset after shooting it today.

This is exactly what I found. Great setup. Really wished it worked for me.

The jury is still out on it for me, but so far it seems to be ok.
I shot 105 through it this morning. 30 slow fire getting a feel for it, 3xBFM Drill, and 40 doing my 'bad breath' drill (within 1 foot of target, push off, draw and fire two to chest while retreating, no sight picture, just point and shoot).
No malfunctions. Did well enough I'd feel ok carrying it in shorts with no belt when I need something lighter than my P01.
Still need more practice with it, though.

Yeah, drawing from that briefcase is too slow.
