Hi All
I was looking for black powder for reloading for my Rolling Block but I haven't been to successful in finding any for sale around NC . Has anyone seen any for sale around NC ? looking for FFG black powder like Goex, Swiss ect:

Most folks do a case lot order from a distributor. It is too much of a hassle for most local dealers to contend with the requirements of storing the powder.

I ordered from Powder valley , have some on the way was just hoping to find it local.
Thanks.
I was hoping to find some at Dixie gun show but no luck , overall the gun show was pretty weak on reloading supplies .

I have bought Goex at Bass Pro Shop in Cary. You have to ask for it - they don't put it on the shelf

Parks Dist used to be the go-to but sadly are out of business. Since I compete with black powder arms in the North South Skirmish Association, I try to support this guy

http://www.blackpowderva.com

His prices are decent, he supports the NSSA, and he's located at the exit from our National range.

Go with Swiss or Elephant. Goex is nothing more than extra dirty firecracker powder these days.

I disagree with that statement. Goex also makes Old Eynsford and that is a very, very good powder on par with Swiss. Standard red can Goex, I'm not a fan, nor do I like anything aimed at a reenactor since all they do is shoot blanks.

I was speaking of the old Goex. Not familiar with the new stuff. I shot Mt. Man era reenactor for almost 30 years & we never shot blanks. But I do know the reenactors you speak of.

Thanks for all the replies , I will be reloading for 43 Spanish , I have been reloading for a good while but this is the first time I have tried black powder reloading. I figured Goex was a good place to start but will try different powders as well . I saw Buffalo arms uses the Swiss powder .

Old Eynsford is a Goex product. Just like gas is sold in differing grades, so is black powder. The difference between Old Eynsford and Swiss doesn't start to show until you start competing in 1k yd competition. Under 500 you'd be hard pressed to find the difference other than price. Swiss cost most, Old Eynsford next, then everybody else.
