Prayers were answered today! Jerek had the Rituxan again today and got through it without a single problem (other than air getting in the line and the IV machine beeping at us). His appetite is back (thanks to the steroids), and he is finally eating again. I never thought I would worry about how much that man ate. He is getting some strength back and is able to sit in the chair more. He hasnā€™t been for a walk in quite some time, so we are looking forward to getting out of the room tomorrow and going for a walk. Things are looking brighter each day.

So glad to hear . I hope you are taking care of yourself.
I will keep the prayers going.

EXCELLENT news!! Prayers still headed your way!!

Great! From personal experience: even if he isn't ready to walk outside, a ride outside in a wheelchair on a nice day is a wonderful experience.

Good to hear!!! Appetite.....hmm a bowl of Breyers Ice Cream does sound good.

Praise God!!

Continued prayers. [emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317]

Great news, thanks for keeping up posted. I never met Knifeman but definitely hope to do so one day. We will keep the prayers coming.

Unfortunately he is neutropenic right now. He has to wear a fancy mask when he leaves the room and isn't allowed to leave the floor. We just walk laps around the floor, but that is better than nothing.

You can still make it fun and break the monotony for him. Think of it as a game, next time you're doing a lap grab a wheelchair and take it for a ride then rub up against somebody and bump them like it's a NASCAR race, run them in over into oncoming traffic, time the laps and see if you can go faster each lap, every couple times you pass the nurses station make one of them come out and give him a drink and wipe off the front of his wheelchair like it's a pit stop. How many sets of toes can you clip with the wheelchair wheels? You won't know unless you try.:)

Dang gum. You took a page out of my play book for when they send me to a retirement home. I told my kids I was grabbing the first pretty nurse I find.

Glad to here he is doing well. My continued prays are for healing and I know that the Lord can do this. I've see too many healed not to believe.
