Asking for my brother, he is a USMC vet and has been using the DAV in Winston but said he can never get them to answer or call back. I told him about seeing this section on the forum and said I’d ask.

Is there anyone or place to use around the triad that’s good? He had a claim denied without any appointment and wants to get it opened again.

DAV is worthless. Call Veteran's Guardian. Not free, but they only collect if you get an increase. Got me bumped from 10% to 70% in just under 4 months.

No, she isn't in the Triad, but obviously finding someone there isn't working for you. Email, fax, gasoline, and USPS should work well for this lady. This lady charges a flat rate from the start. She made a HUGE bump in mine. She knows the system and obviously has friends on the inside. FYI: she loves Obama and if you step foot in her office, it'll be apparent. Dress and act accordingly and you should see major improvements to your claim. Get her what she needs ASAP, she'll work for you. Her name is Angela McNeill. Tell her J. West referred you.
