Dang - I'm so stunned I don't quite know how to act. On June 7, I sent a pair of wood handgun grips to Ahlman's Guns <https://ahlmans.com> for hand checkering, with instructions for how I wanted it done; I included a check. The grips arrived back at my house today - that's 12 days, including a weekend, and including shipping both ways. And they are exactly how I wanted them. Strewth! I would not have thought such a thing possible in these times. I still have a rifle languishing at another well-known gunsmith for almost a year, along with a thousand of my dollars, and no idea when I will see it again - and this is typical. If I ever need anything else Ahlmans does, you can bet that's where I will get it. Major props šŸ‘šŸ†šŸ˜.

Thanks for posting this. I have a rifle stock I was considering sending to them when Iā€™m done with it.

Ahlmans is a great place to visit too. My job takes me to Faribault, which is only about 10 minutes down the road. I make it a point to stop in.

Actually headed back there this week. I'll take some pictures of the shop if I remember.
