It was brought up in another section, but I can't recall which one. I took advantage of this when they went to Darlington last week.

I brined some thighs overnight and baked them for lunch the day. It was good stuff.

I’ve gone to two of the sales, left with nothing.
The last one was sold out before they started.
People slept in their cars overnight.

For those that have went. How long is the wait? How early to arrive? I don’t have any that close to me so it would be a drive. If I decided to attend, I would like to know how early to arrive to get a good spot in line and how long the wait is. Thanks.

When I went, I got there 30 minutes before they were going to start. But they actually started when I got there. Haha.

It took us about 30 minutes to get our chicken, then otw home.

From my understanding, now that the word is out, if you're not treating this like Walmart's Black Friday sale, no chicken for you!

I will add that our local meat packing plant is doing something similar.

I would advise checking yours to see what specials they are running.

Food Lion, is or was a good NC company has been selling chicken in their stores pretty darn cheap too and no 4 hour wait or having to camp out in your car.

I was hoping one of these sales would be around the Charlotte area. Ended up back in Harris Teeter earlier in the week and they have their $2/pound chicken breasts again.
