Those of you who came to the October Meet and Greet got to meet Ruan Westraad. Ruan provided the 50 BMGs and ammo for everybody who wanted to shoot them.
On New Year's Day at 2:15 he had a Massive heart attack. He has been kept "sleeping" ever since. Ruan is a Special Forces veteran of the South African Army. He has been a friend to all he meets. His generosity has no bounds. He is a shooter and an American Patriot.
Our friendship is a treasure to me. He is a young man and I hope that will be in his favor insofar as his recuperation .
Please, let's all think positively and Hope for a good outcome.

God, bring healing to Ruan and make him well again

I hate to hear that Billy. Heā€™s an upstanding man. Iā€™m glad I got to meet him. Heā€™s also a strong man. Hopefully the sleeping is healing him and heā€™ll be back on his feet soon

Damn Billy. He is a really nice guy. A pleasure to meet and talk with. I hate to hear this.

Very sorry to hear this news. Didn't get to go down to the October Meet & Greet, but he sounds like a great guy. I hope he has a trouble free recovery.

Yesterday morning early Ruan's daughter called and asked me to come to the hospital. The subject was what to do when the ventilator came off. The Docs had said it was not feasible to reinstall it. She was, at the age of 22, going to have to make a huge decision. When I left we were all prepared. During the night the tube was removed. She called me at 7:30 this morning to come to the hospital. I walked out the back door at the Clinic and was there in no more than 5 minutes. When I walked in the room, I walked slowly up to the bed and as I got within reach his big bear paw grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me to the bed. He is still having problems forming words and making sentences BUT the tide has turned.
He had been out since New Year's Day. OUT! Today 100 + employees and a handful of close friends can sleep restfully.
Thanks to each and every one of you that had positive, encouraging, loving thoughts about this fine man. He is Back.

Great news Billy. That is awesome to read

Sorry about that. I had pulled this up earlier today to type you the message, got busy and then didnā€™t get back to actually write it until a minute ago. I didnā€™t think to scroll back up to see if there was a new post.

That is great news. Very relieved for you.
