A quick search, unless this goes deeper, shows the gooooogle douches pulling YouTube app off of Amazon devices. I would bet that this will have no effect on getting YT via Kodi

My guess would be that this is in response to the wide spread rollout of YouTubeTV.

For millions of consumers, this means Amazon devices that they bought and that once played YouTube will no longer do so, forcing them to buy another streaming device—such as Roku or Google’s Chromecast—if they want to watch the video service.

This is the sentence that Fire should focus on.
