Was needing some brass, so hit up the book of faces and snagged a large flat rate box of 223 brass from an LEO range. Around 2500-2600 cases by weight

Handful that I wet tumbled and cleaned shows me about 25% LC 09-12, 25% Fed FC, 15% PMC, 20% WCC & WMA Winchester, and 15% other.

Not a bad deal for $80 shipped IMO. Around 2.5 cents a piece give or take

Good deal man!
Ive been eye'n some LC 308 brass for good prices.. Just need to bring myself to buy a good swager, which is $$$$$$

I use the Lee chamfer tool to remove crimps. take about 3 twists on LC brass. I do have the RCBS swaging kit I got from @Catfish it mostly sits in the box.

I got around 625 .308/7.62 cases from a member here for similar money, maybe a tad less. 2 Boxes of 'grade 3' LC brass sealed as sold by Midway and 125+ cases of commercial .308. Still working on them.

I have the same tool, bought the hornady one as well, and use them, still had issues getting new primers in on crimped 5.56 brass on most cases, compared to the new hornady brass that I later bought after getting tired of boogering up primers.

Even after swaging, I find chamfering the pocket is easier and quicker. I haven't mashed a primer since I started doing that
