The main obvious difference is the barrel. The MC has a slab side barrel and lacks the full underlug. This lightens the thing up for easier target transition and handling. The MC is supposed to come with an action job, whereas the standard comes with innards that are going to feel rougher. The MC also comes with a wood grip, or stocks if you will, while the typical model comes with Hogue or the original style grips (now made by Altamont). There are several models of MC available with different sights options and chamberings.
