I had a private that we were getting ready to send to Iraq mid tour as a replacement. This kid, just out of AIT, came to me and said, "Sarge, I want to get married before I deploy." I ask him how long he'd known her. Oh, about 2 weeks, anybody want to guess her job description? Alex, I'll take stripper for $100 please! Yep, you got it, stripper. I tried to talk him out of it, tried to talk him into limiting her money to just BAQ, tried to talk him into waiting, nope! He got married, set her up in his trailer, gave her full general POA and access to all of his checkbook. I used to go by on my way home, she had a different car there every night, when he was headed home, she sold everything he had, drained the checking account and hauled ass! He came crying to me when he came back and I just told him the cold hard facts of life! He'd even bought her a new set of boobs that he never got to see! Some people never learn!
