Hello,

Dont post here much, lurk alot but wanted to let yall know about a great AK builder around Kernersville, NC. I know people are often looking for a good builder...
I bought a Hungarian AMD65 kit from him on the Canadian site and he offered to build it for me on a nodak. He finished it quick and I got it last week. Took it to the range yesterday and fired about 150 rounds of trouble free and accurate shots. Rivet work is impeccable, great coms. Check out some pics of the build and final product....

He is registered on here as digitalpaladin10 and if you want to PM me I will provide his name and number and a more detailed reference...

Very nice, and thanks for sharing. Now you need to get some wood on that beast...

AD Custom is in Fayette'nam if anyone needs AK work done in that area. I've seen some kits made into complete rifles and they look/function great.

I never bought the Draco as I couldn't find a builder/smith for the job, but I was under the impression that all the new Dracos came in with virgin UF trunnions like the bottom pic.

The Cugir imported pistols came in with different versions. The Champion and Draco versions had different trunnions. The PM63 trunnions are the easiest to convert if you have the underfolding stock and hardware . The solid trunnions are heat treated and eat drill bits like candy to try to drill out. In those cases, it's best to just replace the trunnion entirely and sell the pistol trunnion to recoup some cost. I've done several Draco's.

Any ballpark prices and turnaround times for a build in which they provide the receiver? Just curious. Feel free to PM me.
