Greensboro city council meeting: Great speech

Here is one a little more succinct than the above or Mr. Robinson's speech. Incan even remember this one if I have had a few drinks.

 
I finally watched the speech.

Watched this dude's video in another thread - SOLID!

This dude rules, we need more like him out there.
WE need to be out there like him.
None of this polished crap about 'I got to buy chicken thighs and the GSO gun show is legal'... nah, just speak from the heart, have passion, make a difference.

He is the every-man. He is the majority. He is us.

I take it you didn’t like my speech. :(

Keep in mind, I was representing GRNC so I can’t be all “I will use your bones to make my bread”, etc. :D

Though I agree, I love his passion.

oh that was you?! Yeah, the first part, to me, nah... Talking about, legit, buying chicken thighs just did little for me. But halfway through it got dang good.
I dont think there is a reason to ever say something as extreme as the 'bread' part (and I know you were just joking, though some would likely really say something like that).

But thanks for being there and speaking your mind!
 
Believe me, I had it in my soul to say things like “to the young lady from “March for our lives, I saw a film from the future you wish to create titled “Schindler’s list” and it was not a happy film. I won’t be going into any of your cattle cars. Your entire speech is proof that sending children to government schools is akin to child abuse”.

And yet, I have to be polite...
 
You should beat up whoever did that to your shirt.

Ive already registered on their site to volunteer, did it Sunday, but not heard a peep out of them yet.
