greensboro gun show

My plan for Saturday. Take the 3 girls fishing from 6 to 10. Come back home. Have all 3 fight to the death in a cage match to see who gets to go with me cause I ain't paying $11 EACH for 3 teenage girls to walk around a show. Only need the one to carry the 2 item I will have for sale.

But the parking charge is the same regardless of how many kids you bring. ;)

Planning on going out there
Hate the price (because of parking too), but it's a great show, huge.

I & everyoneā€™s favorite gunrights group will be there... :D

Now we just have to pray the ā€œkennyā€™s Spicesā€ folks are... Iā€™m out of their chophouse rub & that is unacceptable...

Parking charge? Seriously? WTH?

The "guns, knives, military or related items. No "flea market" items" stipulation might make the parking charge worth it, Although, I do have a hard time passing up on an opportunity to have my glasses cleaned. ;)

Coliseum charges the parking for events, not the events themselves. Has always been that way at Greensboro.

Gotcha. It' been more'n 25 years since I've been to a gun show in GSO. Guess I've been spoiled by the Raleigh gun shows at the fair grounds with no parking fee.

As you know, CFF will have a table in the show. Iā€™ve taken an adjoining table and will have a handful of pistols for sale. Another member will have some guns on the table Saturday morning. If any of you are interested in taking some space on the table, lemme know.

Oh hey, thanks for the reminder! I'd forgotten all about there being a Greensboro show this weekend. I'll be there Saturday! :D

CFFā€™s table is in the big room, far to the right as you enter the building. This photo was taken from the extreme front right corner of the building. 3rd or 4th aisle from the end. Stop by and say haugh-dee. The table number is V9 although the only way that helps you is if you go up to the registration desk and ask to see the floor plan.

looks like it will be good show I wanted a second table and they had to do some fancy tetras to make it work as all the tables are full.

Worse then last time I went. Of course, my firearms taste are different than others. Won't be going back. Long drive, gas there and back. $5 to park and $11 to get in. IMHO, Charlotte is bigger, better. And the "tables must contain firearms items" disclaimer is a load of BS.

Thanks so much to @teamglock2002 @larryh1108 and @Prudii for babysitting me today. We handed out a metric ton of CFF business cards. Now we hold our collective breaths and wait to see who joins us.

Sunday, youā€™ll have the opportunity to hang with @Chdamn, @Chdamn's Wife, @Burt Gummer and Jeppo will again be signing copies of ā€œJeppo, Get a Bigger Target; the unauthorized biography of an old fart with gunsā€. If you stop by the table early enough and either do the secret handshake with Chad or whisper ā€œGimme a Mrs. Jeppo cookieā€, all your dreams will come true. :D

Screw that ... Chadā€™s wife needs to be autographing some of ā€œherā€ photos and taking pics with show goers!

This show was great! Right out the door I ran into Cubrock, who had a fantastic deal on a Steyr STG58 FAL that I couldn't pass up! :) I just finished dissassembling, cleaning, lubricating and putting everything back together, and now I can't wait to see how it shoots! Thanks a bunch to Cubrock and to Gregg the FAL guy for helping me learn more about the rifle and make sure it was in good working order! You two are great. The bolt loosened right up with a good cleaning, and the adjustable gas plug just took a bit of break free to get it turning again. :D

I got that, the two Austrian mags Cubrock threw in with the FAL, and two more Israeli metric magazines from a nice old man who let me make sure they fit in the gun before buying, and I verified was selling them at a very good price. Other than that, I just hit up Defender for what they had left of their 7.62x51, and another small table I bought some PMC M80 to break it in with. Here's to hoping everything works out!

Look forward to a range report!

You sold that shiny Smith?
That lady come back?
She fingered that gun for at least 15-20 mins . No worse then the guy that took apart my upper W/O asking, told me it wasn't right beacause it was sticking and had a 556 BCG in a 300 blk out. So I took the BCG out of my AR and said I'd make it right if he wanted it and then left leaving all the parts on the table.:mad:

Have to admit Jeppo's girl was quite funny when he ask if she was serious and she answered I'll show you how serious I am and pulled out her how to check revolvers paperwork.:D
