Greensboro gunshow this weekend..

Village Pawn had a PC9 early in the morning.. $550cash said the sticker.... i saw no other...

I was at their table at about 9:15 and was told they had one but were having issues with it. Came back about an hour later and was told something was wrong with it and they would be returning it to Ruger. Still never saw one but I did get to see the box. :)

2 hour wait time at any given point.... but I am still alive.

Stopped by your table about 11. You had a great price on a VP9 that my brother fondled for a little while. Tried to talk him in to it as he's been talking about one for about a year but couldn't make the sale. Sorry, I'll try harder next time.

Gun was lying on the box on my observation, earlier than that.. i did not speak with anyone about it.

The show was a little disappointing from past years but got to meet a couple forum members and learned a few things today as well.

On my way out, I overheard two GPD cops saying they were considering traffic control around the BBS tables for Sunday.

Just got back from show. Smaller show then usual as some have already stated. I also found it weird that some tables were still covered and not open yet. Some were being uncovered about an hour in though. Didn't see any guns that I couldn't live without but did have an Eotech G33 magnifier come home with me. Price was 45 under what I could find online so I was happy with that.
Always good to walk around and look on a rainy day.

I'm just getting over there now, hope it's not shutting down.

Are they cheaper full of holes? :)

If you got there right when it opened, some dealers just hadn't uncovered yet. It sometimes happens. I know one dealer that is lucky to be uncovered by 11 AM most shows because he spends Sunday morning shooting the breeze with friends at the show.

I was a bit late thanks to an emergency call from a good friend that didn't turn out to be an emergency once I got over to him. He sounded like he was having a heart attack on the phone. I was relieved, but a bit annoyed that it couldn't wait until after the show. LOL

We had a good show, a lot more foot traffic than we expected with the current environment. My Microtech dealer said it was the best GSO show for him ever. I did help his cause though. Everytime I spend the whole weekend at this show all I bring home is a knife, reading glasses and a raffle ticket. That’s just not right. The dealer from Wilmington had a FDE CZ P-10C with night sights for about $460. I went back three times and eventually waited out the urge until he packed up. That saved me 5 bills. But it was close.

I got nothing but those heat packs you pop then rest on your shoulders.. didn’t realize you have to boil them to reuse them. :(

But I did win the affections of a beautiful RN who wants to go shooting later this week. :D

Picked up a m&p 2.0 compact 9 from backwoods bang shop (thanks again bud) and some blackout ammo to function test a new build.

Was the microtech dealer in the far back corner of the large room? If so I almost picked up a storm trooper ultratech from him. I came back to look at it twice before I just walked out.

@Unknownpro that Glock with the blue slide and red dot is really nice. I really like the rougher finish. How does it wear compared to the slick finish?

That more aggressive finish is a process we do to the polymer and slide before coating. If the coating was removed it would still have that texture to it. So the texture will always remain it won’t come off or wear.

The slick side lower frame is a standard cerakote finish so it has its normal durability.
