Grip reccomendation?

I had this problem last time I bought an AR. The standard A2 type grip is just too anemic for my hands, and I hate that protrusion.
What would y'all recommend for something beefier? Something that keeps the hand higher and tighter? I tend to put US Palm's on my AK's, and I know they made an AR grip as well, but good luck finding one now.
Is there anything out there similar for Mattel rifle?

I like the angle better and it’s beefier than the a2 stock grip which I dislike for the same reasons.

The angle on the larue looks extreme

The Larue looks like it might do the trick. Low enough price I'm going to at least try it.

If you were local, I have one of the LaRues I could let you hold. And an MIAD, and damn near every other Magpul grip. I can try to get some pics tonight.

I perfer the Magpul MOE + I think it’s called. It’s the rubber coated one

Just make some local friends and arrange to go to the range the same day and see what they have...


Or do like some of us and build 15-20 rifles and try them all. Then change them all to the 1-2 you like.

The main reason is that they're virtually straight up & down, very little angle. Some guys don't like finger grooves, I do. The recoil reducing part actually works too.
They really provide a solid purchase.
