Just saw this guy at the local gun store. Any of you guys have one and like it? Never heard of it and they said it was a Sig model and was sold to GSG.

They used to manufacture them for Sig to sell as the Mosquito iirc. They're alright. A bit fussier on ammo than some. If you're going GSG I much prefer their 22lr 1911 lookalike.

Brit told you right. The Sig Mosquito had a spotty rep but some folks said they work OK with the right ammo. I don’t care for a DA/SA Auto personally.

I found a GSG 1911-22 on sale and it’s been a very good pistol. A couple of friends have them and give good reports.

If it is like the Mosquito I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. I couldn’t get rid of my Mosquito fast enough. That thing freaking sucked.

I have a Sig Mosquito, which is essentially the same gun as what you are looking at. It looks like a Sig, but the internals are nowhere close to a "real" Sig product.
Mine was picky about ammo until I buffed the feed ramp w a Dremel and since then it has been fine. They don't have a great reputation, but a search on YouTube actually turned up more positive than negative reviews. Given the choice between a RugerSR22 and a Mosquito, I would pick the ruger.
