Guardians of the Galaxy - Volume 3

Does anyone other than me tire of seeing what amounts to the same movie over and over again? Batman 1, 2,3,4,5... Spider-Man ad infinitum. John Wick. Fast and Furious? The list goes on. Are there no new ideas or are we doomed to seeing the same things over and over forever?

Yes! I miss the character story driven movies of the past. The CGI superhero movies have gotten old.

So, how did the LGBTQ colored space suits fit into the plot?

Saw it last night. Really liked it. Thought the Rocket thing was kinda cool. Mary wasn't happy with the "we do bad stuff to animals" vibe. I felt like the "big villian" was kind of an after thought with all the other stuff going on in the movie.

Wife surprised me and took me to the movies on opening night. First time being in a theater since 2019 or 2020 whenever that lion king remake came out

Was a decent movie, I had not seen endgame or some other movie prior to watching GOTG3 so I had to ask the idiot sitting next to me (@PurpleWalrus) wtf was going on with the blue and green chick. I'd wait for it to be on Disney plus personally. Wasn't bad but not worth sitting for 2+ hours without good food and spending that much money.

The wife and I went to see it. There are some definite emotional tugs placed into this that made up for some of the tedious parts. It's not blowing my mind, but I found it more entertaining that I thought it would. While it was not as good as the first 2, it was a great way to end the trilogy.
I found the Critical Drinkers review to be spot on...spoilers included so don't see it before the movie.
