Anyone ever have this happen to their poor, neglected grill?

Yep, a bird's next on my smoker. Little SOB's.

How the grill gods are looking down on you right now....

Ahh, but you get extra credit for having a grill at the vacation spot so that covers you

That nest might make a good charcoal starter.

I was going to do a pork chop, but put some chicken on instead to send a message to the intruders. Too bad I wasn't a little quicker earlier with the turkey that tore through the side yard. But by the time I spotted him/her my angle wasn't good and the neighbor's house up the hill was in the background. Didn't want to send any 9mm rounds there way.

We've had birds and mice build nests in our grill (on our patio ) between 8 pm one day and 5 pm the next.

I've seen these things in use in videos. Looks like it would be a handy item to have.

It is cool. Although you need a pretty solid hunk of meat for them to work well. For steaks, chops or chicken breasts they are perfect. I used it on some ribs and pulled them apart. It is also a brutal self defense weapon if needed. I plan on taking out a bear with it someday.

Bonus points if you utilized the chicken nuggets in the nest as an appetizer

Nest was empty. Luckily there wasn't a bunch crap around too. Didn't really want to get the pressure washer out. Should have brought a 22lr rifle up and just started taking out birds and squirrels. Guess I need a suppressed set up and a long weekend up here.

Don't worry, my grill was much worse. Apparently we have nice in our back yard and they loved eating the grease in the grill and crapping like there's no tomorrow. Needless to say, I've been catching a lot of mice lately and cleaned my grill better than it was when new!

I had some small footprints and what looked like a tail track on the deck leading away from the grease can ob my last visit. Guess I will be sure to empty it every trip now won't I?
