Guess what this is(answer given)

I comprehended the word "piston" and "engine" from this thread and that is all. Great read.

I have seen a 9V battery before, so there's that.

Cummins? A clogged oiler? ...From the manufacturing process? If not, that must be some severe neglect or oil cooking, or both.

Paccar, if it was a cummins it would have not made it that far with one thst clogged. We joke at work that the new cummins are very temperamental, change oil a little to late...... rod through the block, run a little hard...... rod through the block, to strong of a head wind...... rod through the block.
They all have there unique issues, if your cummins is throwing a 559 code, get it in The shop its time for a rebuild. God forbid the fuel pump goes out and sends metal through the lube system.
Paccar with an external coolant leak around the head, cracked head, dropped liner..... every time
And they all have aftre treatment issues

My cummings in my freightliner went at 50k. 50k. I said the mileage twice on purpose. It bucked like a horse for 1/4 mile, when i got it pulled over i didnt shut it down. It sounded like a bucket of bolts rolling down hill. Oil was pooring out so i shut it down and called penske.

So now that we’re bashing Cummins, can someone explain why all dodge guys suck each other’s dicks at the mention of a Cummins?

Because the 12valve is still in the top 3 small diesel engines ever made.
But the fact that they like crap on internatonal diesel engines shows that they truly don't understand what a good diesel design is and the only reason they say what they say is because they simply have the ability to word vomit what they read on the Internet and what they've been told.

See.... point proven
We are in the process of 6 engine swings at our shop right this second and 4 of those are Cummins

Because the best thing to ever be put in a dodge is a Cummins. The 6bt is a dang good engine like the 7.3 and 6.0 is to ford guys. With engines that good they developed a following like glock guys and although there is better out there they wont admit it. Paccar uses the 6.7 Cummins just rebranded.

True for the px serries (the little engines), but the big brother to the px series is the mx series, and those are nothing like a cummins.
Im not arguing because im no expert so the mx is a Cummins design right???

No sir You have quite a few major differences in the fuel system, front gear train versus rear gear train, ect. Paccar is 100% paccar when it comes ro their mx series. Now you can get a complete paccar drive train in the bigger mx serries, engine, trans, and drive axles, hasnt hit the px serries yet

Thanks. I dont know much about diesels like i do gas burners. I perfer a gas burner if im not towing everyday. The 6.2 ford has all the power i will ever need. Ford is introducing a 7.3 gas engine that im looking forward to seeing. I drive a smaller freightliner with a cummins in it, i perfer a cat to a cummins.
