Gun belts

I think I have ten gunbelts. Four are Fatboys.

Two of these are favorites. One is a beat all to heck Fatboy that I wear every day.

The other is a rigger's style reinforced nylon web belt made by 5.11 that I like for matches because it is infinitely adjustable.

Two different animals.

I’ve got a couple of 5.11 reinforced leather gun belts that I use as “dress belts” but I’m retired and don’t “dress” much.

As mentioned before kore makes some nice belts.lots of buckles to choose from.Nexbelt also makes some nice belts.

If you have a holster attached I highly recommend a belt with an internal stiffener as straight leather will eventually take a set.
I use Magpul Tejas as I prefer the look of leather but there are many other man made options as well.

A friend, new to ccw, has a Kore essentials and really likes it. He lives 7hr away so I haven’t checked it out yet.

I don’t really like leather gun belts due to the fixed adjustment holes. Ive used Wilderness Instructor, 5.11’s Wilderness copy, an Amazon cobra belt, and my current EDC is the Blue Alpha hybrid EDC belt.

They usually have a booth at the Dixie shows. Out of Ramseur NC. I have a couple, one of which I have worn nearly everyday for I can't count how many years.

For EDC I use various blue alpha gear belts (hybrid and low profile EDC) and Wilderness low pro belt. These are some of the best I’ve found.

I've got one I bought from them way back when the C&E show was at the old Metrolina Expo in Charlotte. They tore the place down in 2016, I've had the belt at least 4-5 years longer than that, wear it every day. Bought a second one a few years ago because the first is looking a little rough. Works very well for IWB carry.

I have an Emissary gun belt from the Alonso Defense days. It's hands down been my favorite edc belt for years now.

Company is now known as Ciguera gear, but I assume the belt is the same.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Have you been pleased by the belts these folks make? It's hard finding a decent belt without having to mortgage your house to buy one.

By the way, could you reach out to me via PM please?
Yep, I’ve got two of the leather belts that I’ve been wearing for outside work and casual for years. Best belts i’ve ever owned. They are made in the USA, just as heavy and thick as the boutique lifestyle brands like hanks.
