Gun in car when stopped by police..

I’ve had good experiences getting pulled or in license checks. Got pulled in a semi in Virginia and told the dot man I had my chp, he told me he did to and was also a lifetime nra member. Also let me off with a warning for not having a log book. Last night went through a license check on my motorcycle with my girlfriend. When on the bike I put my pistol in my tourpak because the grips bits her thigh. Trooper walked up and asked for my license. I told him it was in my tourpak and I have my chp and my pistol was with my license and that my girlfriend has hers and was armed. He asked where we were going and said go ahead and be careful. Never bothered checking anything.

I've been pulled a few times with it in the car and or on my body. Almost every single time that I had it under the seat (from when I ran in a non carry place) and didnt holster it when getting back in, I've forgotten to mention it completely. 2 times I have had it on my person and as soon as "Afternoon sir, how are you, Im officer joe blow" I replied with "Sir, I just want to inform you that I do have a weapon on me concealed and have a valid CCP, do you need to see that as well" and both times I've been replied with "No thanks, you're good, I believe you"

'Cause they're gun people!

Nice! But the laws on concealing g in a car are confusing too. Were you carrying it on your person at the time?
I see your question was answered by someone else and yes I always carry on my person unless I am de-arming to enter an
anti-gun establishment(which never happens because #nogunsnomoney)
